I've finished my bike tour, and am now setting up shop in Austin TX. I've been here 3 days, and I can tell this town kicks ass.

We hope to begin production on our new touring and road frames in the next month or so. The test ride of the first touring frame across the US was a success: the frame rode like nothing I have ever ridden, so I can't wait to launch production of this puppy.

As for a name for our new touring frameset, "The Skyline" got the most attention, so we may use that. Thanks fans!

But we also plan to launch a road frame, which needs a name too... Lets hear some suggestions!

New touring frameset on the way!

We have decided to launch a “stock” touring frameset! 80% of the custom frames we build are for touring anyway, so why not. We think we have a lot to offer here, and we are excited to introduce our new touring frameset.

We spoke with a number of manufacturers in Taiwan and Japan, who assured us they were the people to make our frameset. After all, it is very hard to compete without outsourcing. That’s what nearly every other company who markets touring framesets does. So we got samples, and the quality was very good. But not perfect.

So, we have decided to make them here in our shop.

Why are we excited, and what do we think will set our touring frameset apart?

-Better overall quality. Near perfect frame alignment, hand brazed, meticulous build methods etc. etc. For touring framesets, we think this type of quality is important, and hard to get from an outside manufacturer concerned mainly with output.

-True Temper tubing, and cast lugs. We decided to go with True Temper tubing. We think it is the best.

-Lugged construction. Again, we think this is important. A frameset under heavy loads that needs to be reliable should be lugged.

-Super durable powder coat, you pick the color!

-Customizable options. Disk tabs? Over BB routing? No prob!

…but we still need a name. Anyone? Feel free to leave a comment!
